Establish and amend internal control standards, to the extent different from regional or global internal control standards;
Monitor compliance with such standards;
Participate in remedial actions following a breach of the internal control standards;
Provide cooperation to and meet as required with the local regulators;
Establish guidelines and policies for risk management, to the extent different from regional or global policies and guidelines;
Perform or support the assessment of risks;
Establish and manage risk management systems in accordance with established processes;
Conduct other compliance and risk management matters as appropriate.

At least ten (10) years of experience in the financial or insurance industry; or
At least seven (7) years of experience in risk management-related matters at:
Korea Federation of Banks;
Korea Financial Investment Association;
Korea Life Insurance Association;
General Insurance Association of Korea;
Korea Federation of Savings Bank;
Specialized Credit Financial Business Association
A person who holds a master’s degree or any higher degree in a finance-relate field and has worked as a researcher in a research institute or as an assistant or any higher-ranking professor in a university in the field of risk management for at least five (5) years;
A strong understanding of regulations applicable to the financial services sector/insurance industry;
Sound judgment, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence key decision makers and other relevant parties;
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Korean;
Familiarity with business culture and ethics in the Asia Pacific region; and
